It is the enthusiasm of new "Born-Again Skinnies" that nourishes the program,
reinforces its validity and propels us to devote our lives to its perpetuation and the abolition of the fat consciousness
that pervades so many of us.
Below are some amazing success stories. Here is an excerpt from a recent article from
Marie Claire magazine. Below is an article from People Magazine with an interview with one of our
more famous "skinnies," Maria Shriver!

The following are some excerpts of the thank you
letters and comments we receive every day. Thank you all for sharing your stories.
I purchased my first Beverly Hills Diet book for $.49 at a college book store sale. It was just before I turned 40, and
we all knew the stories about weight and 40. I have never understood all the hoop-la over the three weeks of only fruit. Any
overweight American could fast for three weeks on just some juice, and not do harm. The emphasis should be more on the maintenance
program which is forever. It is healthful, and works! Everything that has been printed over the past 20 years about what one
should do to maintain health, I have already been doing on this maintenance plan. Thanks for a lifetime plan that works, and
allows me complete freedom to eat anything, with a little planning.
- Lorna I started on Atkins about 4 years ago, lost 20 lbs in the first few months. Kept
it off for about 2 years, and gained it back over the past 2 years. I stuck with the diet, but started putting
the lbs back on, and over the past year and 1/2, have gained 15 of it back. I had become concerned about
my health and nutrition, and the long term affect of never eating fruit, and essential carbs like Potatoes I had
not had a potato, banana, (no fruit) corn, bread, pasta, etc in 4 years.
Then, my husband and I went to our favorite Italian restaurant one night ( I would eat grilled chicken,
and crab claws while he pounded down the bread and pasta) and the owner that we know and really like a lot was there working
as usual, however she was much thinner and more energetic than normal. I complemented her, and she sat down at our table,
and took the time to tell me about the Beverly Hill Diet, and, that she had lost 35 lbs in 6 weeks, and was still losing.
I went to the book store the next day, bought the book, and started reading it. (this was on a Friday.) I
reluctantly started the diet on Monday. ( The reluctancy came from my Atkins training that fruit was bad, and would
make me gain tons of weight. Much to my surprise, (and I do not generally lose weight easily) I lost 2#s after the first
day. Also much to my surprise, the high acidity in the fruit has not caused me problems as I expected it to.
(in past an orange would break my mouth out in ulcers caused by the acidity. Seven days later, I am 71/2 lbs lighter
and still losing (winning).
- Patty
"Before I started your diet I was 197 pounds and only 5' 1/2 " tall.
I'm still 5' 1/2 " tall, but now I'm 160 pounds. I've lost 37 pounds. My goal is to lose a total of 82 pounds. I only have
45 more to go and this will be a piece of cake. I'm sharing this diet with others so that they may feel as good about themselves
as I do. Thank you, Judy."
- Barbara R., New York
"I've been trying to lose weight and keep it off for 20 years. I've gone from a size 18 to size 14 and I'm so sure I'll
never gain it back again, I've thrown out all my old clothes."
- Ramonia F., Maryland
“Today I am on an all grape day. I live in New Zealand, and have known about the Beverley Hills Diet for well over 25 years now, and whenever
I need to shed 6Kg your wonderful diet has helped me, to stay slim, energetic, and looking wonderful all these years. I have acquired The New Beverly Hills Diet book which I think is absolutely fantastic.
Your Lifelong Slimhood Friend,"
- Iris B., New Zealand
I have been on your diet for 5 days and am currently striving not to stop. I have lost 2 kilograms
and (just as you promised in your book) have never been hungry.

I’ve been trying to lose
about 20 pounds for six months. I tried stopping the insanity to no avail. I heard about The New Beverly Hills Diet, where
I could eat real food and lose weight. I tried it and was amazed at the results; 9 pounds the first week and 3 pounds each
week thereafter for a total of 20 pounds. I ate a variety of foods, from duck pizza to veal romana with pasta; chicken parmigiana;
a corned beef, pastrami, chopped liver platter with rye bread and potato pancakes; steak and lobster with real butter. I even
drank beer and vodka as well as champagne and, of course, I ate a lot of fruit. I will continue to follow the diet to lose
an additional six to eight pounds and then go on maintenance. Since I started, quite a few people have joined me and have
had great results. My daughter, Samantha, lost 12 pounds in three weeks. I would recommend this plan for anyone wishing
to lose weight while eating everyday food.
